“Live Mas to Win Mas" Social Media Campaign

"Think Outside The Bun," one of the most successful campaigns in Taco Bell history, was running out of steam. In an effort to refresh the brand and get sales moving again, the brand created the Live Mas brand campaign.
As part of the campaign launch, Taco Bell set out to re-engage their 7 million Facebook fans and gain new fans with a Live Mas Win Mas contest. To be sure, Taco Bell’s aim wasn’t just to gain more followers; it wanted to establish a platform for storytelling and engaging its followers. |
Our Contribution
Working with the Taco Bell social media team, our creatives and strategists helped create the content and digital assets for the “Live Mas Win Mas” social media contest. The contest asked fans to submit photos that illustrated how they “Live Mas” with the Dorito Locos Tacos. The most outrageous entries won cash and exclusive TB experiences. |
Summary of success |
The contest was a huge success. It grew followers to new heights and drove a significant increase in engagement. The program helped Taco Bell rank as No.1 on DigitalCoCo’s Restaurant Social Media Index.
